I finally capped Imogen in Christopher and His Kind, which aired not too long ago. See the pictures in the gallery! I really loved Imogen as Jean Ross. She was quite the interesting character!

Ross was the young cabaret singer who befriended Isherwood (played here by Matt Smith) and became the inspiration for Sally Bowles, who featured in a number of Isherwood novels [...] But Poots’s mesmerising performance as this young, faintly androgynous stage creature who unequivocally can’t sing – ‘We would try something where the note was flat, or she couldn’t reach the note, or she giggled or stumbled or coughed; it’s a pretty hideous affair,’ Poots laughs – is a long way from Minnelli’s more vampish turn.
‘I think that was something my director, Geoffrey Sax, wanted to explore; the girl who definitely didn’t have what it takes – I think that presents the tragedy of her situation more,’ she says.
According to indieWIRE, Imogen and Felicity Jones are no longer in Trap For Cinderella.
For smaller independent producers, the problem with your long-atttached star suddenly generating new heat is that they’re flooded with new offers; bigger films, more tempting films [...] Poots has used her buzz from her role in this summer’s “Fright Night” to land gigs in “A Late Quartet,” “The Laureate” and “Hello Darkness,” so it seems likely that scheduling conflicts ruled the stars out.
I finally replaced the MQ screen captures from Cracks with better ones. I probably already said so, but I really liked the movie! As well, three stills from Jane Eyre have also been added to the gallery.
Various sources today are announcing that Imogen has joined Orlando Bloom and Kerry Condon in The Laureate. If this is true, this is awesome news!
Orlando Bloom, whose bread and butter includes traipsing around English countrysides in robes and chain mail, has been out of the spotlight of starring roles for a few years, but he’s about to reclaim his throne as the king of lushly photographed period pieces in writer/director William Nunez’s “The Laureate.”
Bloom will play poet Robert Graves, and the film will focus on Graves’ relationship with two women: Artist Nancy Nicholson (Kerry Condon) and American poet Laura Riding (Imogen Poots). Apparently the writer had an open relationship with the two women, and they all lived together for quite some time, until Graves began to like Riding better. Pun intended? Sure, why not.

Imogen Poots is “unconsciously” drawn to “dark roles”.
The British actress – who made her name in zombie movie ’28 Weeks Later’ – prefers playing characters who have depth to them rather then the “object of a guy’s affections”.
She said: “Unconsciously I’m drawn to darker roles because they’re more appealing than playing the object of a guy’s affections. I like roles I can get my teeth into.”
The 21-year-old star is also excited about her forthcoming movie ‘Fright Night’ – a remake of the 1985 movie of the same name – and fell in love with the location of the shoot, in which she stars with Colin Farrell and David Tennant.
She told Empire magazine: “I just fell in love with Albuquerque! I’m probably the only person you’ll ever hear say that – I was there for three months and the sky was mind-blowing.
“The sunrises and sunsets are just incredible. I got carried away and have about 1,000 photos of the same cloud.”
